Long views of Lake Charlevoix, the small town of East Jordan and the mouth of the Jordan River make The Boathouse a truly special Location. Large glass garage doors and windows showcase the best of what Northern Michigan has to offer!

There is no place on earth as gorgeous as Northern Michigan and Lake Charlevoix, that said the weather does vary and our priority is to make every guest feel comfortable. If the weather is perfect feel free to open all the glass garage doors and enjoy.....if the weather is unexpected have the security of complete comfort.

The Boathouse is located at the end of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix  in the heart of the historic village of "South Arm" later united with the neighboring village and renamed East Jordan. The Boathouse was once winter storage for boats from Lake Charlevoix.

We have lodging located onsite. Two historic homes are available for our guests of The Boathouse.

The Boathouse is surrounded by an outdoor paradise of activities. Boating, kayaking, fishing, skiing and mountain biking can all be enjoyed starting from location.
